John Langdon, an adjunct professor in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, was mentioned in a July 20 BBC-Radio broadcast in a segment about fictional characters in literature who derive their names from real people. Langdon is the namesake of Robert Langdon, the main character in a series of books by Dan Brown that includes Angels and Demons.
