Dr. Mariana Chilton, an associate professor and director of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities in the School of Public Health, was interviewed on PBS on August 2 about A Place At The Table, a 2012 documentary film on hunger in the United States. On August 5, Chilton was quoted in an August 5 Philadelphia Inquirer story on the science behind people negatively reacting to the poor.
