Weitzner is an expert in all aspects of the business side of the music industry, including digital asset management, online streaming and distribution. He has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles throughout the industry where he worked at the nexus of music, digital media and technology. Weitzner is a frequent presenter at the top music business and digital media conferences and has commented in stories about the evolution of the industry and the challenges of building a business model around streaming.


Weitzner is a founding director of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) and has served in senior executive management positions with TVT Records, pioneering digital retailer and the digital distribution, marketing and technology firm IODA. He is currently head of North America for CI, a London-based digital supply chain and asset management solutions provider for the global independent music industry.
