Neilanjan Nandi, MD

Assistant Professor

College of Medicine

Nandi is an assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and associate director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship program at the College of Medicine. His primary research interests include fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) and the study of the microbiome, especially in the context of modulating chronic illness. Drexel's established frozen donor stool bank promotes efficient and easy access to FMT. Looking beyond the intestine, Nandi believes that an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to IBD is critical in providing truly comprehensive care that is mindful of the entire body.
