Nursing and Health Professions Dean Donnelly Does Stand Up Comedy

WHAT: “STaND UP” for the Drexel University College of Nursing is an evening of good, clean, fun. Drexel’s Dean of Nursing brings her charisma and punch lines to the stage in a fundraiser for her students. The goal: $60,000 for student scholarships to be used for graduating students who may be encountering financial difficulties or hardships. WHO: Dr. Gloria Donnelly, Dean of Drexel’s College of Nursing & Health Professions is a psychiatric nurse by training who believes in the healing power of humor. Her evening of stand-up comedy includes stories on “Role Models, Songs for Nonassertive Women, Letting Go of Negativity,and Weapons of Mass Destruction-Self Care for the Ages.” WHERE/WHEN: Thursday, May 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., New College Building, Geary Lecture Hall B 245 N. 15th Street BACKGROUND: Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions enrolls approximately 3,100 students.
