Security Magazine Ranks Drexel No. 11 Nationally for Safety
Security magazine ranked Drexel University No. 11 for safety among the nation’s colleges and universities. “Drexel’s Department of Public Safety prides itself on maintaining a safe campus environment for its students, faculty, and staff,” said Domenic Ceccanecchio, M.S., CPP, senior associate vice president for public safety. “We are committed to the highest standards of quality in promoting a safe and problem-free educational environment. The department provides and administers many community-oriented services and programs, which exist to maintain a secure environment and to enhance the quality of life on the University’s campuses.Recently Drexel established a police department.
