The Part-Time MBA programs at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business have been ranked 10th in the nation by BusinessWeek in its 2007 survey of Part-Time MBA programs.According to BusinessWeek, the Drexel Part-Time MBA programs were rated best for job changers and received an “A+” for its curriculum. “The success of the Drexel Part-Time MBA programs can be attributed to the foresight in developing an innovative curriculum that is strategic and responds to the needs of today’s ambitious professionals,” said Drexel University President Dr. Constantine Papadakis. “We are able to deliver a dynamic, rigorous experience with relevant coursework and exceptional faculty that continues to advance the careers of our graduates.” BusinessWeek based its survey on three criteria: a student survey sent to 9,274 part-time MBA students at 81 programs that measures overall student satisfaction; academic quality, including: average Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score, average work experience, percentage of tenured faculty, average class size in core classes, number of business electives available, and program completion rate; and response from graduates who deem that the program was completely responsible for achieving their career goals. “The Drexel Part-Time MBA programs are forward-looking and leverage Drexel’s core strengths in leadership, technology and connection to industry,” said LeBow College of Business Dean Dr. George P. Tsetsekos. “The BusinessWeek ranking further attests to our growing stature as one of the world’s leading resources for transitioning professionals and validates the comprehensive mastery of business knowledge that professionals need to drive business in a global, technological world.” In their responses to the BusinessWeek survey, students said that Drexel’s “fast-paced LEAD (LeBow Evening Accelerated Drexel) MBA wins raves for high-caliber students and classes.” Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business also offers part-time MBA programs through the Drexel LEAD MBA at Malvern, Pa.; MBA Anywhere, a cohorted, accelerated online program; the Corporate MBA at DuPont in Wilmington, Del.; the Corporate MBA in Pharmaceutical Management; and the Professional MBA, a traditional program for working professionals. For more information on The Drexel Part-Time MBA programs, visit lebow.drexel.edu.
