Drexel University College of Medicine is pleased to announce that 153 faculty members have been named to this year’s Best Doctors in America® list. The physicians, representing more than a dozen specialties, were nominated by other doctors from across the country.
Drexel University College of Medicine students continue the tradition of collecting books for every child enrolled at Mifflin Elementary School in East Falls.
Applications are now being accepted for the new Master of Science in Molecular Medicine (MS-MM) degree program. The program is designed to provide academic and practical biotechnological knowledge in translational research, particularly in the areas of molecular therapeutics and vaccine development.
A panel of distinguished surgeons from around the country are coming to Drexel College of Medicine for a live webcast on January 8, 2009. “20 Years Later…The Evolution of Lap Chole” will highlight advances and future trends in minimally invasive gallbladder surgery. The hour-long webcast will take place at 7 p.m.

Drexel University College of Medicine broke ground this morning on a $9.3 million expansion that will house a state-of-the-art medical simulation center and serve as the new home for the nation’s only leadership training program for women in medicine and its archives.
