College of Medicine hosts symposium on drug treatment of cognitive and attention disorders

May 27, 2008

Scientists at Drexel University College of Medicine will gather this weekend to discuss the pharmacology, physiology, and behavioral testing of drugs used to treat cognitive and attention disorders. The goal is to encourage an exchange of ideas to translate catecholamine neurobiology to clinical practice.

College of Medicine faculty will be joined by researchers from Drexel University's School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health Systems and from the College of Arts and Sciences for the interdisciplinary symposium, which will be held on Saturday, May 31st at Geary Auditorium B inside the New College Building, 245 N. 15th Street, Philadelphia.
