Dr. Steven Russell was born in Germany. His father was in the Air Force, so it offered Dr. Russell a very international childhood before finally settling in New Jersey.
Dr. Russell completed an undergraduate degree in biology at the College of New Jersey. He went on to complete his medical degree at UMDNJ. His medical training in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine were completed at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Russell continued at Graduate Hospital as a preceptor at the resident clinic, went on to become medical director of that resident practice, until joining Drexel/Hahnemann in 2008. He has been honored with Teacher of the Year three times while at Graduate and Attending of the Year.
Dr. Russell endeavors to create a fun environment at the 1427 Vine clinic, conducive to learning great outpatient medical management.
