Ashley Parker, MD, is a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is a faculty mentor for the Drexel Black Doctors Network, providing networking opportunities and guidance for medical, pre-med and high school students. She is also involved in the teaching of obstetrics and gynecology residents.

Research

During her residency, Dr. Parker participated in research examining implicit bias among residents who deliver obstetric care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, with the goal of advancing understanding of implicit bias and its effect on patient care, and offering strategies to decrease bias among providers.
