Physician Refresher/Re-entry Program For Referring Groups

Stakeholder organizations often refer physicians for remediation or a refresher after physicians have been clinically inactive. With permission from the physician or their representative, we can work closely with you to ensure that re-education, remediation or competency assessment meet your expectations.

Referring organizations may include:

  • State medical boards
  • Hospital credentialing groups, licensing boards or specialty associations
  • Employers
  • Health groups
  • University residency programs
  • Recruitment agencies
  • Attorneys
  • Insurers

These groups will refer physicians for several reasons, including:

  • They want the physician to enhance their skills and knowledge after time away from the field or before a license renewal
  • They want the physician to enhance their skills and knowledge as part of clinical remediation
  • They want the physician to develop new skills and gain new knowledge

With the physician's permission, we work with you to assess, educate, or home in on a targeted clinical or communication skill for your physician.

I enjoyed the supportive and compassionate atmosphere and having the opportunity to share my challenges and worries, while getting encouraging and actionable advice. It was definitely a valuable experience that I’d highly recommend to any physician in the refresher program.
