Pivot and March Forward: Pathways from Military Service to Educational and Career Success

Thursday, November 4, 2021

9:30 AM-1:30 PM

When members of the military march in formation, they usually reach a point where they pivot to change direction. And after time in the service, veterans reach a pivot point where they must decide what to do with their future. That is why we named Drexel's upcoming virtual conference, sponsored by the Veterans Task Force — Pivot and March Forward: Pathways from Military Service to Educational and Career Success. This virtual conference is designed specifically for military-connected students and their stakeholders and will offer learning opportunities about the many educational and professional options available after military service.

The conference will close with the opportunity to ask questions on topics such as the admissions process, financial aid, and the Yellow Ribbon Program, and what it's like to be a student-veteran at Drexel.

You are encouraged to pass this invite along to any military-affiliated students and are more than welcomed to attend to learn more about the veteran-student experience and better support this population of students.

All virtual sessions will be hosted using the VisitDays platform. Visit the Pivot and March Forward | Student Life | Drexel University for more details and to register use the “yellow register now” button. If you have any questions, please email Rebecca Weidensaul at
