This highly competitive program accepts on average one out of every three applicants each year. Candidates are encouraged to submit their application, personal statement and $500 refundable fee early. Priority scoring of the completed application will be given.

Be certain you are eligible! In the fall of 2019, you will be:

  • A high school senior, or
  • A college freshman

You will be in Philadelphia during camp.

Mini-Med Summer Camp is not designed as a residential, or sleep-away, program. Therefore, if you live outside the Philadelphia area, you'll need to make living arrangements. Please contact us via email, minimed@drexel.edu, or call at 215.762.6800 for more information.

Session I (3 weeks)

June 24 – July 12
Time: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Session II (3 weeks)

July 15 – August 2
Time: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A completed application packet includes your application, personal statement, $500 fee, recommendations and transcripts. These can be submitted electronically or by mail.

If transcripts, grades and recommendations are sent by you they must be sent in a sealed school letterhead envelope.

The deadline for Mini-Medical School to RECEIVE your completed application is March 15, 2019. Mail delivery within the university cannot be guaranteed. Therefore it is recommended that all information be sent early or sent via special handling.
