Guidelines for Career Development Funds

Beginning August 2019 for the Incoming Class of 2022

The law school seeks to support J.D. students in their career development. To that end, law students in good standing who are compliant with all Career Strategies Office (CSO) meeting requirements may be eligible for funding up to $250 in order to defray the cost of registration fees related to attendance at job fairs and professional conferences related to law or JD Advantage careers, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses (live), and American Inns of Court fees. Career Development Funds may not be used to defray the cost of travel, licenses, or certification costs.

For students seeking financial support for career development activities, contact Donna Gerson, Associate Dean for Career Services, at Students should not pay in advance. There will be no individual reimbursement for out-of-pocket payments.
