Undergraduate Institution: Boise State University
Concentration Area: Human Resource Compliance
Professional Interests: Human Resources Business Partner and Global Talent Acquisition. In researching Thomas R. Kline School of Law’s MLS program, I learned they also offer a concentration in Human Resources Compliance. This reputable program offers a solid foundation in law, legal studies, and a better understanding of all the challenges in Human Resources to mitigate those challenges. The investment is paying dividends based upon on the legal aspect is combined with the laws of human resources.
Advice to Prospective Students: Tenacity, Hard Work, and Graduate School: My advice is to take a proactive approach in becoming familiar with our professors, technology resources, and school resources to ensure needs are met. Set high standards for yourself and follow through with them to overcome obstacles and remain on track. Studying and participating will increase engagement and foster continuous dedication that results in achieving success in school. In terms of planning ahead, create and commit to a schedule for studying at optimal times. With respect to growing personally and professionally, I attribute growth to the professors at Thomas R. Kline School of Law. The professors genuinely care about you and give you feedback to help reach goals. I would also advise to take the time to communicate with your professors. The bottom line is, don’t take your resources for granted.
