Jacob Schuman is an assistant professor at Penn State Law and an affiliate faculty member at Penn State's Criminal Justice Research Center and Consortium to Combat Substance Abuse. He studies criminal law, criminal procedure, and sentencing. His research has been published or is forthcoming in the Virginia Law Review, the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, the Washington Law Review, the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, the Tennessee Law Review, the Federal Sentencing Reporter, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the New Republic, the Marshall Project, and the Crime Report, among others.
