Wireless Security Update For DragonFly3
July 3, 2019
On Friday, July 5, 2019, Drexel will update a security component used when connecting to the DragonFly3 wireless network. Most computers, tablets and phones will accept the update automatically, but some will need help to re-connect.
If your device cannot connect to DragonFly3 on or after July 5, use the DragonFly3 Installation Wizard to restore service. To do this, connect to the Drexel Guest network, go to http://dragonfly.drexel.edu/, then follow the instructions for the Installation Wizard.
The Installation Wizard is the best way to set up your device because it provides the greatest protection for your Drexel password.
If you have problems connecting to DragonFly3, contact the IT Help Desk at email@example.com or 215.895.2020.
For those interested in the technical details, Friday’s change will replace the security certificate used for DragonFly3 RADIUS authentication before it expires.
