Faculty/Professional Staff Email Moved to Office 365

As of May 31, all local Exchange and Basic Mail accounts for Drexel faculty and professional staff have been migrated to Office 365. Email for these groups is only being delivered to the Office 365 mailboxes, and forwarding settings have been removed.
How to check your email going forward:
Browsers: Sign in to portal.office.com with your Drexel credentials (e.g. email@example.com) and click the "Mail" tile.
Mobile devices: Use the mail app to add an Office 365 account (not a POP or IMAP account). Your email address is your full Drexel username (example: firstname.lastname@example.org).
Computers: Outlook and Apple Mail need to be reconfigured. (While Apple Mail works, Outlook works better with Office 365; consider switching to it.) For Thunderbird, try the Exquilla addon – the 60-day trial license is free.
Messages in the local Exchange mailbox were migrated to Office 365, but messages in any Basic Mail mailboxes you owned were not migrated. Those messages will be accessible until the Basic Mail service goes offline. If you would like to save any of those messages, you can migrate them manually to your new Office 365 mailbox. Follow our video instructions to copy messages from your old mailbox to your new one.

Basic Mail users who have NOT been migrated yet (most students) should make sure they can sign into portal.office.com prior to their scheduled migration. Let Drexel IT know at email@example.com or 215.895.2020 if you are unable to sign in.
