The pages inside food+shopping have been redesigned to improve performance when scrolling and moving amongst the summary and detail pages. They remember which dining vendor and types of food and shopping vendors you last viewed.
All day events now show in the events calendar.
Name displays in the directory have been updated to show name suffix (Sr, Jr, etc), middle name, and honorific (Dr, Ms, etc) as per the user preferences set at http://duapp1.drexel.edu/DirectoryAssistance.
Users can customize page background images. (Press and hold on the "Drexel One" title at the top of a page to see the menu.)
Students can access their advisor information from the bottom of the course list in Academics.
DragonCard merchant list for "shops" now displays properly.
The News option in the Community section is now called News+Events. The new Events tab is replacing the Drexel Digest tab as Digest is wound down.
DrexelOne is now integrated with the Pictures hub. If you're in the Pictures hub and select a picture, you can chose "sharing..." then "upload to DrexelOne" to submit the photo to Candid Campus.
Menus can now be set to show the full menu, a vegetarian menu, or a vegan menu. For faculty and professional staff, University Club menus are now available. Handschumacher menus no longer publishes a "Carb-Friendly" indicator.
Candid Campus and Candid Question let the user choose how many archived items to display. (Press and hold on the word Archives at the top of these pages to see the menu.)
Athletics Scores and Events let the user choose how far in the past and future to look for matches. (Press and hold on the word Scores or Events at the top of these pages to see the menu.)
When DrexelOne needs to dial a number, it now shows both the name an the number of the person being called, if such information is available.
Shuttle bus tracking for the Dragon Loop reflects the change from west-bound JFK Blvd to Arch Street. Route paths now show in the phone's accent color. Tracking page supports landscape.
The Account part in the Settings page now has a design that better matches the rest of the application.
The user is notified when release notes have changed.
Fixed a bug that prevented login sessions from renewing after two weeks of use.
Building search field on Campus Map page now displays correctly in the Light Theme.
DragonCard account names are now displayed on two lines to show more of the name.
Co-op interview schedule now looks out 180 days instead of two weeks.
Better detection of parked buses to prevent them from showing in the tracking page.
Placeholders now show in photo class lists while actual images are retrieved.
Holds:
Now explains why you might have a hold, the effects of the hold, and lets you get in touch with the office or person who can help.
Academics (for students):
Instructor contact information is available for all of your courses.
Tap a course then tap a section on the Info tab to see it.
Academics (for faculty):
View your teaching load and see photo class lists for any class.
Tap a student on the list to see student and advisor contact information, the full Bb Vista
gradebook (including private grade entries) and view Bb Vista tracking data.
Coop:
Your interview schedule and job descriptions are now available.
Balances (for staff):
View accrued leave time balances for vacation, sick, and personal time.
Campus Map:
Typing in the search box limits which buildings show; press Enter to zoom in to only those
buildings.
Food+Shopping merchants:
Merchants are grouped into "food" and "shop" categories and sub-categories.
"Time bars" on the right show today's hours and if each merchant is currently open or closed.
Tap a merchant for detailed hours, phone number, and address, including mapping.
Food+Shopping menus:
Detailed Handschumacher menus now show if items are "well balanced,"
"carb-friendly," "vegetarian, or "vegan". Tap an item to see a detailed description, including allergen
and nutritional information. (Menu data starts with fall term.)
Transporation:
The Next tab now shows the next bus and the one after that (just in case).
If GPS is enabled, the Next tab will show the distance to the nearest shuttle stops and
estimate walking times. Bus tracking is in beta test for the University City and Center City
loops.
Candid Campus:
You can submit pictures to Candid Campus.
Credits Screen:
There is a hidden credits screen for the development team. If you find it,
enjoy it, but don't spoil the search for everyone else. (Shh...)
Location Services:
You can turn GPS on and off. When on, it's used in the campus map, bus tracking, and
DragonCard merchant mapping.
Live Tiles:
Pin DrexelOne to your start screen and the tile will automatically update to show the latest
Candid Campus photo. This feature is in beta test and the frequency of updates may change. Live Tile updates
use your phone's data plan and may consume up to 10 MB/month until we optimize the system.
Page backgrounds:
If you don't like the stark black and white look, turn on page backgrounds and
adjust the transparency to your liking.
Location Services:
Location services enhance campus maps, merchant details, and shuttle bus tracking.
Your GPS location information is never stored or transmitted by DrexelOne Mobile.
Live Tiles:
When turned on, your DrexelOne user-id and your version number of Windows Phone is sent
to Drexel so that we can compose the right tile information for your phone.
