October 26, 2016

On October 26, the EAT Café, Philadelphia's first pay-what-you-can restaurant, opened it's doors to the public. The Café will be open on Wednesday to Saturday from 4:30 to 8 p.m.  With a suggested price of $15 for a three course meal, guests will be able to pay the suggested price, more, less, or nothing at all.

Thanks to partners like Vetri Community Partnership, Giant Food Stores, Metropolitan Bakery, and many others, the EAT Café offers delicious food for everyone who comes to dine no matter their ability to pay for it.  The menu at the Café will change weekly with a variety of cuisines featured.

The EAT Café hopes that people who can pay it forward by paying more for a meal or donating online will do so.
