Wellness Weekdays - Warm-up Wednesdays: Yoga for Anxiety

The Graduate College of Drexel University presents Wellness Weekdays, a series of workshops which focus on wellness of the mind, body, and spirit for graduate students and postdocs. These sessions offer an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to take a break from their academic pursuits, learn something new and engage with peers, faculty, and professional staff across the University.
This Warm-up Wednesday will feature a gentle yoga and breathing class, a hands-on movement experience. Drexel's Human Resources Wellness Administrator, Monica Fauble, licensed acupuncturist and yoga instructor, will lead you through a series of stretches and breathing practices that can be done in your own space. Monica will also lead attendees through guided breathwork, meditation, and grounding exercises which you can use any time to help you destress and reset throughout the day.Recommended Attire:
Something you can move in. Avoid wearing tight or restrictive clothing if you wish to fully participate.Level:
All bodies and fitness levels are welcome to attend this class. We will offer variations of each posture to help you modify the activities based on your needs and abilities.
