Julia Ross, MS
Instructor, First Year Exploratory Studies; Assistant Director, Academic Services, Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship
Julia Ross has been a part of the Drexel family since 2015 and has worked in a variety of roles as an administrator, staff member, faculty member and is also an alumnus of the University. Julia started her teaching career in the First-Year Exploratory Studies program as an instructor for UNIV 101, helping new students navigate Drexel and their first year in college. In her current role as Assistant Director of Academic Services at the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship, Julia works closely with prospective and current students on both the undergraduate and graduate levels who are interested in studying entrepreneurship and innovation. Prior to her position with Close, Julia began her journey at Drexel University in the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success. While a part of the Undergraduate Admissions team, Julia channeled her passion for diversity and inclusion efforts by co-leading the STEM Conference for Teen Girls and Captivate 6|7|8, a college fair for middle school students. Julia has earned an MS in Education Improvement and Transformation from Drexel University and holds a BS in Rehabilitation and Human Services from Penn State University.
