Jon Boyle, PhD

Instructor, Project Management Graduate Programs; CEO, Global Organization for Accelerated Learning and Leadership

For the past 30 years, Dr. Boyle has been teaching across Washington D.C. Virginia, and Maryland. In 2010, Dr. Boyle joined as an adjunct instructor in the Project Management graduate programs at Drexel University. He teaches courses such as: Intro to Project Management, Project Leadership and Teamwork, and eTools in Project Management.

In addition to Drexel, he’s also an adjunct instructor at George Washington University, George Mason University, University of Mary Washington, and others. Since 2018, Dr. Boyle has split his teaching duties with the Global Organization for Accelerated Learning and Leadership, in Washington D.C., serving as their Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to his work with the Global Organization for Accelerated Learning and Leadership, Dr. Boyle also served 20 years working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the Chief Knowledge Office, and the NASA Academy of Program/Project and Engineering Leadership. He was responsible for initiatives in learning and knowledge strategy alignment, design, development, delivery, implementation, administration and evaluation for Technical Workforce Development (TWD) programs for NASA.

Dr. Boyle has been featured in publications such as the Cambridge Handbook of Organizational Project Management, The Gower Handbook of Programme Management, CIOReview, and many others.

Dr. Boyle has a PhD in Human Development, which he received in 2002 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In 1999, he earned his MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, from George Mason University. During his nearly 20 years in active duty with the United States Army, Dr. Boyle earned both his MEd in Human Services and Human Resources Education from Boston University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine.
