Debra Colbert-Maduforo is a Drexel University administrator, faculty member and alumna with a 19-year history at the University. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship Programs at Drexel University's Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship. In this role, her primary focus is on developing and maintaining the Institute's startup culture, programs, events and first-year student experiences. Debra supervises and supports the Institute's Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, volunteer mentors, entrepreneurship co-op students, student employees and interns. She also assists the Close School of Entrepreneurship's program managers with coordinating large entrepreneurship events for high school and college students, faculty, staff and the community. Debra previously served as an Office Manager and Program Coordinator at the Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship and Receptionist and Secretary at the LeBow College of Business.
As an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University's Goodwin College of Professional Studies, Debra develops and teaches undergraduate courses on career and professional development. She was a four-time nominee for Drexel University's President Awards and is the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Commitment to Student Entrepreneurs Award. Debra earned her master's degree in higher education and her bachelor's degree in general studies both from Drexel University.
