Award Highlights for the 2017-18 Fulbright Core Competition, Deadline August 1, 2016

June 1, 2016

Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program:
Over 800 grants are awarded annually through the Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. These opportunities, found in the Catalog of Awards, are open to faculty and lecturers, full- and part-time, early career and senior scholars. Short term and long term opportunities exist in all disciplines.

Distinguished Chairs:
A group of awards within the Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, Distinguished Chair awards are among the most prestigious appointments. From Australia to Austria, these high profile awards afford senior scholars opportunities to share their expertise at renowned institutions abroad. We are hosted a webinar on May 26, 2016; you can follow this link to view the archived presentation next week.

Global and Multi-Country Awards:
The overwhelming majority of Core awards are for single-country grant activity. This group of awards, however, supports multi-country projects. The Fulbright Global Scholar Award is now in its second year, and allows grantees to complete a project in two or three countries in different world regions. All multi-country awards will be highlighted in a webinar on June 14, 2016 from 11:00am-12:00pm EDT. Register here!
