Drexel Preview

July 18, 2013

Article by Adam Zahn, Program Coordinator

Drexel University hosted its inaugural Drexel Preview for incoming Chinese students in Shanghai (July 18th and 19th) and Beijing on (July 21st and 22nd). Dr. Julie Mostov, Vice Provost for Global Initiatives, and Dean David Ruth, Office of Campus Life, represented Drexel along with faculty and staff from Study Abroad, College of Arts and Sciences, LeBow College of Business, College of Engineering, Steinbright Career Development Center, and International Students & Scholars Services.

Each event included an evening reception followed by a full day of activities for students and their parents to learn more about the Drexel academic experience as well as other topics including Drexel co-op and experiential education, steps to becoming a successful student, the Drexel Student Experience, visa information, and a panel discussion with current Drexel students and Drexel alumni.

These very successful events allowed our new Drexel students to feel welcomed by fellow students, alumni, academic advisors, and Drexel University leaders.
