Activities

GENTE Scholars Program

  • Launch of Program in Equatorial Guinea
  • Recruitment of 3 cohorts of Equatoguinean college grads (approximately 12 -persons each) for graduate programs
  • Recruitment of approximately 20 Equatoguinean undergraduates for online BS degree
  • Online undergraduate STEM curriculum in Spanish
  • Development of scholarship program for training craftspeople in Equatorial Guinea for up to 150 students
  • GENTE teaching fellows mentor undergraduates in Equatorial Guinea online

GENTE Environmental Stewardship Jobs Program

  • Development of protected areas management plan for Gran Caldera Scientific Reserve and Monte Alén National Park
  • Work to increase opportunities for EG employment in travel, tourism and hospital industries through recruitment and training, incubator program, and executive leadership training and mentorship

GENTE Health Care Grants Program

  • Award up to 400,000 USD for health solutions in Equatorial Guinea
  • Forge stronger connections across the international health community

Monitoring & Evaluation Plan

  • Implement project management plan (internal)
  • Implement project evaluation plan (external)
  • Implement external financial audit plan
  • Bi-annual program assessments and reports

Communications Plan

  • Reports on research and evaluation findings publications, presentations, cost data, media, and research-practice tools
