BS Criminology & Justice Studies '21

Miranda is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania and recently transferred to Drexel in the winter of 2019 as a sophomore, finding her perfect fit at Drexel. She is immensely dedicated to her studies and is majoring in criminology and justice studies with a concentration in justice informatics. Along with this, she works two jobs while going to school full-time, and is hoping to also complete two minors in Arabic Language and Middle Eastern & North African Studies (MENA). She would like to conduct research revolving around either policing practices, corrections, juvenile delinquency, or international human rights abuse. At this point in time, she is hoping to either have a job in Federal law enforcement, the air force/ army as a civilian, or continue onward to her masters and study international studies and diplomacy with a Middle East region concentration. However, even if her career goals change she knows that she wants to assist victims who do not have a voice and are suppressed globally. She will be studying abroad in the summer quarter of 2019 for a Peace and Conflict studies and intensive Arabic language program in Dublin, Ireland and Amman, Jordan.
