Josa currently works at ZSX Medical, a medical device start-up company. She manages the preclinical testing of ZSX Medicals novel laparoscopic wound closure device. She is also a member of the Drexel Alumni Board of Governors.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Josa was a member of Professor Steven Kurtz’s Implant Research Center while at Drexel. She was also founder and President of Drexel Graduate Women in Science and Engineering and is actively engaged in science outreach activities, especially those targeting girls and women.
