Congratulations to Drexel's Fall 2017 Gilman Scholarship Honorees

Four Drexel students Duy Le (BS Marketing '18), Mimi Liu (BS Accounting and Finance '20), Alexander Tieu (BS Civil Engineering '19), and Kourtney Walter (BA International Area Studies '18) have been offered the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to study abroad during the fall 2017 term. Alexander applied to study abroad in Singapore, Kourtney will be in Costa Rica and Duy and Mimi will spend the fall term in South Korea. Congratulations again to all of Drexel's Gilman Scholarship receipients!

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides U.S. citizen undegraduate students financial support to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. The award aims to diversify the kinds of students who study and intern abroad and the regions and countries where they go by offering scholarships to U.S. undergraduates who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints.
