The Asbestos Center Mesothelioma Scholarship Essay Contest Write an essay to bring light to issues surrounding mesothelioma and help raise awareness about the disease, research, promising clinical trials, survivors, and caregivers. Essay must be between 750-1500 words. Eligible applicants are undergraduate or graduate students who are least 18 years of age and enrolled full-time. The scholarship is a one-time payment made to your school for the eligible semester. The deadline for Spring is January 20. Cancer for College Scholarships Cancer for College provides college scholarships for cancer survivors ranging from $1000-$4,000. Any cancer patient, survivor or amputee who is enrolled and is a US resident may apply. If you are an incoming freshman, you do not have to be enrolled at the time of application, but must be enrolled at the time of the award. Deadline: January 31. American Cancer Society's Graduate Scholarships in Cancer Nursing Practice This award supports graduate students pursuing a master's degree in cancer nursing or doctorate of nursing practice (DNP). Awards may be for two years, with stipend of $10,000 per year. Deadline: February 1.
