Voices from Faculty Reviewers

August 17, 2010

On Thursday Auguyst 26, students interested in applying for competitive national awards (and interested faculty and staff) joined the Drexel Fellowships Office for Voices from Faculty Reviewers, a panel discussion by Drexel faculty and staff who have participated in selection committees for significant nationally-competitive awards.

Hear firsthand what these selection processes are really like and how they work. What makes an application stand out from the rest? What are some mistakes that students commonly make?

Watch or download the video here.

Panel Participants:
Shyamalendu Bose, Physics, NSF GRFP
Grace Hsuan, Civil Engineering, NSF GRFP
Richard Rest, Medicine, NIH
Ahaji Schreffler, Study Abroad, NSEP Boren Scholarship
