Today's campus and wider communities are marked by increased levels of Antisemitism and Islamophobia, jeopardizing the accessible learning environment necessary for our students to thrive at Drexel. The purpose of the training will be to equip Drexel employees in attendance with the knowledge, skills and resources to understand what Judaism and Islam are and how they are practiced by members of our community, to support Jewish and Muslim Students when they face hate, and to de-escalate tensions that might result from political conflicts that have religious/ethnic identity dimensions.
Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m., and lunch will be provided.
