For the first episode of WKDU’s sixth season of Good Morning, Neighbors (GMN), airing online this Friday, Drexel student and GMN host Jane-janette Ansah interviews Kim Gholston, Drexel’s vice president and chief diversity officer, and Tianna Williams, College of Engineering student and co-chair of the Anti-Racism Task Force’s Undergraduate Life Committee. Season 6 is focused on the Black Lives Matter movement and Black history, and on this first episode, Ansah talks to Gholston and Williams about the Black student and staff experiences at Drexel, Gholston’s role as chief diversity officer, their outside activities supporting Black Lives Matter, the Anti-Racism Task Force, views on police reform, and more.
