When did you become interested in engineering?

I have been interested in engineering since middle school. I was captivated by science fiction movies and fascinated by the inventions and technology they portrayed. When it came time to choose a major, cybersecurity stood out to me as the perfect fit.

What are your career plans

As a cybersecurity master's student, my career plan is to work in threat analysis and defense, helping organizations protect their systems from cyberattacks, while continuously advancing my skills in security technologies.

What made you choose Drexel’s graduate school?

I chose Drexel’s Graduate School for its strong emphasis on hands-on learning and its reputation for cutting-edge research in cybersecurity. The program's focus on real-world applications, experienced faculty, and access to industry partnerships made it the ideal environment to deepen my expertise and advance my career in cybersecurity.

What extracurricular activities do you enjoy?

I enjoy organizing events, especially those that bring people together for a common purpose, whether it's academic workshops or social gatherings. I find it rewarding to plan, coordinate, and see an event come to life. It helps me develop leadership and teamwork skills while connecting with others in meaningful ways.

What advice would you give students thinking of attending graduate school?

My advice is to take advantage of Drexel’s hands-on learning and industry connections. Get involved in co-ops, internships, and research, and build strong relationships with faculty and peers for guidance and networking. Stay proactive in balancing academics and extracurriculars for a well-rounded experience
