The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University welcomes applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position with a demonstrated record of excellence as part of a cluster hire in the area of Energy and/or Sustainability in the College of Engineering. Located in a vibrant urban environment with rich cultural and professional opportunities, our department has excelled in terms of research productivity in the areas of nanomaterials, soft and biomedical materials, electronic materials, and materials for energy and environment applications. We seek candidates who can establish a dynamic collaborative materials research program and contribute to the development and delivery of a learner-centered, agile curriculum. We especially encourage candidates who are eligible for the endowed Anne Stevens Assistant Professorship for Young Women Faculty and candidates from historically under-served groups to apply.
