Admissions

The Office of Admissions is the pathway to the University.

We serve as the arm within EMSS that is charged with building awareness of Drexel University, increasing the interest in Drexel among academically qualified prospective students, selecting qualified candidates, and enrolling future alumni.

A key goal of our department is the recruitment and selection of students who will thrive personally and academically at Drexel University. Our role in the student life cycle management is to ensure that the students we enroll not only persist and graduate, but also play a critical role in the advancement of knowledge and the development of the Drexel community. Counseling, teaching, and supporting become key functions in the process of ensuring our students are a good fit for the University and the University, a good fit for them.

Our team consists of admissions counselors who serve prospective first-year, transfer, and graduate students; our operations functions are delivered by a team of dedicated professionals who serve to process applications from tens of thousands of applicants; and lastly, our Events and Visitor Relations team develops and executes a series of on- and off-campus events aimed at introducing our University to prospective students and their families, members of the college counseling community, and other key stakeholders. These teams work in collaboration with the Communication & Marketing team, who develop and continually refine the narrative and voice of the University.
