Academic Information & Systems
AIS Systems Analysts maintain the functional aspects of the core enterprise software applications that house student information across the life-cycle, providing training, documentation and support to all users. AIS analyzes the needs of the EMSS Divisions and supported departments to determine the optimal way to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. AIS leads the search, evaluation, and selection of new applications for specific functionality which will integrate with the Ellucian Banner ERP and other University applications. The AIS department is responsible for serving as a project manager for the implementation of custom applications to meet academic unit goals. This includes major projects and operational tasks, ranging from new software implementation to expansion of current functionality.
