  • ID expiry date
  • Image of yourself

  • Signature (if it appears on ID document)
  • Only one document can be uploaded. If your photo and signature appear on separate pages, please combine both items into a single document before uploading.

The PASSPORT COPY must be clear and meet IELTS guidelines:

  • Size: less than 1.5 Mb
  • File format: tiff, jpg, doc, docx, pdf, png, gif, jpeg

On test day, you must bring your ORIGINAL PASSPORT to the test.  No passport, no test.

8. NATIVE-SPEAKING ENGLISH TEST TAKERS: We strongly advise all test takers to familiarize themselves with the IELTS test format and questions—including native speakers of English. Understanding the type, number and structure of test questions allows your IELTS scores to more accurately represent your true language abilities. You don’t want test inexperience to impact your score. This is especially important for native speakers who—having rarely taken a standardized English language test—can be surprised by the structure and rules of standardized English language testing. Potentially disappointing scores can be avoided with test familiarity.  IELTS.org provides free practice materials.
