Do I need to take the ITA Speaking Assessment Interview?
If you are an international student who will have teaching responsibilities, you must legally qualify to teach. This is the test that Drexel uses to measure the teaching assistant's oral proficiency and readiness.
What is the ITA Speaking Assessment Interview?
The ITA Speaking Assessment Interview is a 10-15 minute interactive, face-to-face interview between the ITA and a trained interviewer.
How do I register for the ITA Speaking Assessment Interview?
You can call the English Language Center (ELC) at 215.895.2022 to make an appointment. You can also email the ITA Program Coordinator, Anne Politz, at ato24@drexel.edu.
How do I get the results?
You will receive your results within one week after taking the test. The ITA Program Coordinator will send you an email to let you know your score and also inform your department about your score.
