Ask Me About

  • Academic advising
  • Educational progress at the ELC
  • General questions about the ELC

Michelle Kline-Peterson oversees Drexel ELC’s Intensive English program. She taught courses in the IEP from 2005 to 2013 before becoming the Assistant Director.

In October of 2016, Mrs. Kline-Peterson presented at the CUBA TIES 2016 conference in Cienfuegos, Cuba.  The first presentation, "Developing Curriculum for Experiential Learning", focuses on her experiences with creating content-based courses such as STEM and Media & Design which engage ELLs/EFLs. The second presentation, "Excelling in Spelling", focuses on her interest in literacy development and pronunciation. Due to this interest, she created a teaching technique to help ELLs/EFLs build spelling competence in English.

Students can meet with Mrs. Kline-Peterson about academic advising or any issues they may be having with their educational progress.
