It is important to review University policies each academic term to familiarize yourself with the rules and procedures that impact your time at Drexel. One of the most important policies is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
FERPA is a federal law that establishes protection for your student educational record. Review Drexel's full FERPA policy.
While this law protects your privacy and limits the University's ability to disclose educational records, you can choose to give access to parents, guardians, or anyone else whom you deem appropriate by completing a FERPA waiver via DrexelOne. This will give the person(s) named the ability to speak about your student record with Financial Aid, the Office of the Bursar, Academic Advising, The University Registrar, Drexel Central, and other offices at Drexel.
