The accelerated Bachelor of Science/Master of Public Health (BS/MPH) allows undergraduate public health majors to complete both their bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.
Students are able to gain admission to the BS/MPH program through two avenues.
They may apply directly into the BS/MPH program off the Drexel University common application. Alternatively, if a student is denied this route or does not apply directly on the common application, a student may be evaluated for the BS/MPH program at the end of the freshman year or first quarter of the sophomore year. If a prospective students meets all the necessary requirements and has room in his/her academic schedule, they will be a candidate to join the BS/MPH.
BS/MPH students are of exceptional academic quality and will begin taking graduate courses during their senior year. BS/MPH students will apply to the MPH program in their junior year. Standardized test scores are not a requirement of the application. During the hybrid senior year, BS/MPH students maintain undergraduate status in which their undergraduate scholarships and financial aid apply toward all courses.
BS/MPH students are eligible to receive merit-based scholarships during the two-quarter graduate year.
