Mona Elgohail Elected as the APAGS Member-at-Large, Diversity Focus

Mona Elgohail, a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology and mentee of Pamela Geller, PhD, studies minority women’s reproductive health experiences, with her current research focusing on the impact of faith on the mental health of Muslim women experiencing infertility. She launched a video about her study that went viral as it broke the silence around infertility amongst Muslims. Mona was recently invited to the White House for the launch of the "Know Your Neighbor" campaign due to her mental health advocacy in the American Muslim community. She was also elected to serve as the APAGS Member-at-Large, Diversity Focus for the August 2016-2018 term.
