The Center for Science, Technology and Society and the Center for Public Policy are looking for a department assistant with work-study hours. The position involves physical and electronic filing, information collection and organization, light editing, help with setup and breakdown of lectures and panel discussions, deliveries (not heavy) and other duties as assigned by the assistant director.
Applicants must be responsible, prompt, organized, detail-oriented, and able to do light Internet research and work in Excel and Word. Graphic design skills or image research skills are a plus. Opportunities are available for students to work 10-20 hours per week. The position pays $9.50 per hour for undergraduates, and $10.50 per hour for grad students.

Note that work-study students are paid through the Federal Work Study program (FWS). In order to qualify for the FWS, students must apply for federal assistance through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FWS program is administered through Drexel's Work Study Office.
