MARYANOFF FRESHMAN SUMMER STUDENT RESEARCH SEMINAR
November 6, 2014
On November 6, 2014 the Chemistry department held a seminar at which this year’s Maryanoff Freshman Summer Research participants presented the work they accomplished. Each student spends 10 weeks conducting a research project under the direction of a chemistry department faculty member. The students receive a stipend and housing for the summer following their freshman year while they conduct their research.
This year’s recipients were Fletcher Hand (Prof. Frank Ji), Ashley Phetsanthad (Prof. A. Addison), Pradyuman Kodavatiganti (Prof. R. Schweitzer-Stenner) and Kirpal Kochar (Prof. Dora Schnur).
This program is made possible by a generous gift from our alumni Dr. Cynthia Maryanoff ’72 and Dr. Bruce Maryanoff ’69, ’72.
