Simara Price, 5th year graduate student in the lab of Dr. Shivanthi Anandan in the Department of Biology, has been awarded an American Society for Microbiology/ Burroughs Wellcome Fund Science Teaching Fellowship. This prestigious program prepares doctoral-trained graduate students for science teaching at a variety of academic institutions.
