Ilana Blumberg is the author of "Open Your Hand:  Teaching as a Jew, Teaching as an American; Houses of Study: a Jewish Woman among Books" (Sami Rohr Choice Award 2008), finalist, National Jewish Book Award, Moment Magazine Prize for Emerging Writer: and Victorian Sacrifice: Ethics and Economics in Mid-Century Novels. She directs the Shaindy Rudoff Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Bar IIan University.
