COMPASS Project
The COMPASS Project is a NIH-funded clinical trial for individuals who regularly experience binge eating or loss-of-control over their eating. The COMPASS projects is designed to test whether the addition of novel psychological skills and strategies can improve treatment outcomes above and beyond those received in the current gold-standard treatment approach. All individuals will receive 16-sessions of outpatient therapy (held over Zoom) based on the current gold-standard treatment approach (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders) and will be randomized to different conditions that test the presence or absence of four different psychological skills and strategies that show promise for improving treatment outcomes.
What to Expect

Research assessments will take place before, during, and after treatment as well as during the one year following treatment
Project GlucoCare (Pilot Trial)
Project GlucoCare is a pilot trial assessing the effectiveness of a new integrative behavioral treatment for weight loss for adult with type 2 diabetes mellitus and binge eating.
